These terms apply when you purchase one or more of the following downloadable archive courses from Design Build Web Limited (referred to below as “we”, “us” or “our”): Bricks Accelerator, How WordPress Works and No Stress DNS.
These products are intended primarily for professional and business learning. If you qualify as a consumer under applicable law, nothing in these terms removes any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
What you’re buying
- You are purchasing a DIY archive edition of the course or courses shown on your order.
- The purchase includes the downloadable video training and supporting files described on the sales page and checkout page at the time you buy.
- No course support is included. We do not provide coaching, lesson questions, feedback or implementation help.
- No community access is included. Any previous cohort, Facebook or other support communities connected with earlier versions of these courses are not part of this purchase.
- No future updates are included. The materials are supplied as they exist at the time of purchase.
- Technical help relating to your order, delivery or ability to access the download files is available at support@davefoy.com.
Delivery
- Following purchase, you will receive an email containing the relevant download-page link or links. This is normally sent within a few minutes.
- If the email does not arrive, or a delivery link does not work, contact support@davefoy.com and we will help you access your purchase.
- The materials are provided as downloadable files rather than through an ongoing course-platform subscription.
- Once the files have been supplied, you are responsible for downloading, storing and backing up your own copies.
- Your downloaded copies are yours to keep, but we do not guarantee indefinite availability of the delivery links themselves. You should therefore download and retain your own copies promptly.
Refunds, cancellation & withdrawal
- These archive purchases are sold on a no-refunds basis once the digital content has been supplied.
- The courses are digital content supplied immediately after purchase.
- If a statutory 14-day cancellation or withdrawal right applies to you, you will be asked at checkout to expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose that right once supply of the digital content begins.
- Once supply has begun following that consent, you cannot cancel simply because you change your mind, decide you no longer want the training, or do not use it.
- Nothing in these terms removes any rights that applicable law says cannot be excluded, including rights that may apply if digital content is faulty, misdescribed or not supplied as agreed.
Currency of the training
- The materials are provided “as is” and reflect the software, interfaces, tools and workflows that existed when the relevant lessons were recorded.
- Software changes. Features may move, change name, work differently or disappear after recording.
- We make no promise that a particular third-party interface, feature, price, product or service shown in the training will remain unchanged or available.
- We have no obligation to update, replace or re-record the archive materials.
Third-party tools & services
- The courses may demonstrate or refer to third-party software, services, hosting providers, plugins or other products.
- We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, performance, security, policies or future development of any third-party product or service.
- Any third-party costs you choose to incur are your own.
Results
- No particular business, financial, technical or other result is promised or guaranteed.
- Your results depend on factors including your own circumstances, effort, judgement and implementation.
- We are not responsible for your earnings, client outcomes, business results, or the success or failure of decisions you make based on the training, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
Licence & permitted use
- Your purchase provides a single-user licence for your own personal or business learning and use.
- You may use what you learn in your own work and in work you carry out for clients.
- You may not share, resell, redistribute, upload, publish, reproduce or otherwise provide the course files or download links to another person without our express permission.
Intellectual property
- All course videos, PDFs, written materials, templates and other supplied resources remain the intellectual property of Design Build Web Limited and/or their respective licensors.
- Your purchase grants you the licence described above; it does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property in the materials.
Service availability
- We are not liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, CDN or hosting failures and other third-party service interruptions.
- This does not affect our obligation to take reasonable steps to provide the materials you purchased.
If you purchase for a business
- If you purchase on behalf of a company, partnership or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
- Where you are acting wholly or mainly for business purposes, consumer-specific cancellation or withdrawal rights may not apply.
Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms for future purchases.
- The version presented to you at the time of your purchase applies to that order, except where a change is required by law.
